"Obesity: An integrated Approach" interdisciplinary conference, which took place in 2023 on September 18-19, brought together leading and concerned specialists from various fields under his roof. The pace of this disease, which is increasing year by year, is in the perspective of the WHO and gives reason to think. The fact that a person with obesity or excess weight also suffers from a number of chronic diseases is particularly noteworthy, which is why it is often necessary to treat not only the main disease, but also to reduce the body mass by various conservative and surgical methods.
More than 2 dozen specialists, from public health specialists to surgeons, took part in the two-day conference. The problem was one: to concentrate all the forces to fight against this non-infectious epidemic.
